Your dreams don’t need an audience, they need you!

-

I thought for a long time that the dreams I carried within me needed to be applauded by others, that they needed recognition from others to become real.

I thought that the important thing was to have an audience, a crowd that was ready to applaud at the slightest sign of conquest. However, I learned along the way that my dreams didn’t need an audience, they needed me.

I understood that dreams are like seeds. When we plant, no one sees its awakening underground, no one applauds its timid sprouting.

Applause arises when the plant has already grown

The applause usually only comes when the plant is already grown, exuberant, showing the world all its beauty and splendor. But without the silent care, patience, love and diligent work of the gardener, the plant would never have reached this stage.

The same goes for dreams. They require our constant attention, commitment and dedication, regardless of whether an audience is present or not.

It is in the silence of our hearts that the most profound changes occur. It is in the stillness of our heart that dreams take shape, gain strength and prepare to burst powerfully into our reality.

Dreams are trees with deep roots

Dreams are not plants that grow in the shadow of other people’s applause. They are strong trees, whose roots go deep into our very being. They are not dependent on curious looks, applause, admiration.

They do depend on our own care, on our commitment, on our unshakable faith in their power and in our ability to make them real.

The act of dreaming is, above all, an act of courage. Courage to allow yourself to imagine a different future, courage to dare to want more, courage to take risks, courage to act.

Dreaming is exploring territories

To dream is to explore unknown territories, to build castles where there was only sand, to believe in the impossible. And for all that, we don’t need an audience, we need ourselves.

I then realized that dreams are personal and non-transferable journeys. Everyone has their own pace, their own way of dreaming, their own way of turning those dreams into reality.

There is no room for comparison, no need for approval, no reason to compete. What matters is the journey, it’s the growth, it’s the transformation that takes place within us as we pursue our dreams.

The true value of the dream is in each step

I finally understood that the true value of a dream does not lie in the final conquest, in reaching the top of the mountain. He is in every step taken, in every obstacle overcome, in every lesson learned. The value is in what we become along the journey.

So if you have dreams, don’t look for an audience. Don’t wait for applause. Don’t look for validation. Just dream. And, above all, believe in yourself.

Believe in your ability to make those dreams come true. You don’t need to share them and you don’t even need someone to dream with you. Your dreams just need you to believe in them!
