So if you do something that doesn’t give you pleasure, you’ll have an unhappy life, little by little the shine will disappear from your eyes and all that will be left is that lifeless person.
If you seek a profession to make money, be sure that you will not succeed. But if you seek a purpose in what you do, money will come as a consequence of a job well done.
Besides, there is no money in the world that can pay for the happiness of knowing that you are doing something you love. Living happily is the most precious possession we can have.
Find the usefulness of your work for others
Most people say that if they had some spare time, they would dedicate it to helping others. I’ll go further and say: find this purpose in your work.
Every job has a social role, and in some way helps society. What you need to find is this purpose in what you do.
Ask yourself: how is my work helping people? What is the impact of what I am doing today for society?
You will certainly find your life purpose. After all, when you see the benefits that your work brings to society you stop doing it in a mechanical way.
You put your heart into what you do. And when you put your heart into something, nobody copies it. People may copy your idea, but they will never copy your heart.
So, what I have to say is: dream, don’t pay attention to people who say that you will not achieve what you believe in. Only you know what is going on inside you. So your dreams are exclusively yours.
