Why did I start expanding SEDA College through franchises in Brazil?

-

Recently, SEDA College opened its first franchise in Natal, Brazil. And this is just a small step closer to what we aim to achieve.

Our goal is to have 100 units open in 10 years, bringing the excellence of Irish education to Brazil. But why are we so motivated?

According to various statistics, only 5% of the Brazilian population speaks English fluently. And this fact is really alarming, since in today’s globalized world, fluency in the language is essential.

Therefore, our mission through the expansion of franchises in Brazil is to provide the greatest number of Brazilians with this opportunity that I see as so important.

A good business for those who want to invest

For those who want to invest in this business, it is important to highlight that the model has been shown to be highly promising. After all, the numbers don’t lie.

According to the Brazilian Association of Exchange Agencies, 75% of people want to live outside Brazil, which shows a market that is expected to expand even further.

Not to mention that 95% of Brazilians are not fluent in English, which denotes a huge market that can be explored, and the possibility of future growth.

Low and affordable investment

The business model we created by SEDA does not require a high investment, and is therefore accessible to many entrepreneurs who wish to invest.

To speak in numbers, the investment value starts from R$70 thousand, with the possibility of having a net profit of 45% with a return of 8 to 24 months.

Furthermore, franchisees can maximize their investment by including SEDA Group products, mainly SEDA College Online and SEDA Intercâmbio, which can increase revenue by up to 10%.

Why have a SEDA franchise?

Currently, SEDA College receives more than 1,000 international students from 41 different nationalities annually. It is recognized by government bodies and local authorities. Considered one of the best and largest English schools in Ireland.

The school is present in Dublin, Cork and more recently in Natal. And, as I said, it should expand its units throughout Brazil quickly in the coming years.

Furthermore, we have a very interesting arm which is SEDA College Online, a 100% Online language course platform.

In general, my expectations are quite optimistic for the future, and I believe that this mission of helping Brazilians speak English fluently is what drives us!
