Why did I embrace the exchange as a way to help people?

-

As the founder of SEDA College, I always had the vision of helping Brazilians realize their dream of doing an exchange abroad.

I believe that this experience is transformative, both for personal and professional development. That’s why I embraced the exchange as a life purpose.

That’s how SEDA came about, and that’s how the idea of Exchange Financing recently came about. In addition, the creation of the Brazil-Ireland Chamber of Commerce was also born with this purpose.

Exchange changes lives

I believe that when people step out of their comfort zone and put themselves in challenging situations, they learn to adapt and deal with different cultures and realities.

This is a powerful form of personal growth and also a way to make a positive contribution to the world. In other words, it’s a way to expand your mind beyond your surroundings.

That’s why I say that SEDA College is not just a language school, but a community. Here we are a real family where everyone helps each other.

We have a dedicated team that cares about the well-being of our students, from the moment they decide to study with us until the end of their stay.

The idea is to offer a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels good. But our commitment to our students’ well-being doesn’t end when they return home.

Support throughout your journey

We continue to support them after the exchange, whether it be with professional advice, connections with others in the same field or simply listening to their stories and offering a shoulder to lean on.

I believe that, by helping Brazilians to study abroad, we are contributing to a more connected and understanding world.

When people are exposed to different cultures and ways of life, they learn to value diversity and respect differences. And that I think is really fantastic.

Not to mention that the exchange can open doors to professional and academic opportunities. I’ve seen many of our students get jobs and internships with international companies, or get into renowned universities abroad.

These experiences not only enrich their lives, but also have a positive impact on their communities and the world at large.

A life purpose

Because of everything I said, I embraced the exchange as a way to help people. And I feel very good about carrying out this mission.

I believe this is one of the most effective ways to contribute to a better world, where people can connect and learn from each other, regardless of their differences.

And I’m happy to be part of this movement and help make our students’ dreams a true reality. And you, what is your purpose in life?
