Yesterday was the first day of the year. I was formulating a nice article to write today, something inspiring for the year to come.
Before deciding what to write, I read some articles, newspapers, and of course, as always after having coffee I checked my e-mail.
There was an email from Fincath with the title: Best Fintechs 2022 Awards. This is an award in which fintechs and startups compete in various categories.
I opened it and accessed the article on the blog to see which were the winning startups. And voila, I already had a theme for this article. Much better than I imagined.
The winning startups
When I read the article, what was my surprise to notice that two of the fintechs that I believed and still believe in took first place in the popular vote in their categories.
Poupay, for the second year running, won in the personal finance category. And Abmex stood out in the Payments category.
There is no way I could do an article today talking about any other subject, except to thank you for being part of this team and for believing in these companies.
I know there is a lot of work ahead. The year that begins brings immense challenges, but I am sure that it will be totally positive for everyone.
The sky is still the limit
For 2023, the expectations with Abmex are the best possible. We have already passed R$ 100 million in revenues and we already have a valuation of 20 million dollars.
What a year ago was a dream in its embryonic phase, today is a reality that is gaining body and prizes. And we do not win awards for nothing.
Those who voted certainly had a good experience with our platform. After all, our idea is to make the infoproducer’s life as easy as possible.
All we wanted was to bring them the possibility of launching their product. And we are sure that with the innovations to come, we will help them take off.
With Poupay it will be no different. After all, we will be the first digital bank aimed exclusively at women, and this is just one step in the process. Our goal is to be a complete and inclusive female ecosystem, with the face of Brazilian women.
A year that starts on the right foot
Starting 2023 with two fintechs receiving a Fincath award is to start a year that has everything to be the best of all.
There is a lot of work ahead, but I am sure that the work will be rewarded with other awards that we will certainly win.
Today, I just have to thank this team that works behind the scenes doing the possible and the impossible to take off these startups that above all have a noble purpose: helping people grow.
