The habit of reading is essential for our professional and personal development. It helps open our minds to many things.

Reading helps us to overcome limiting beliefs, to understand other points of view and even helps us to have some important insights.

I am even a little suspicious to speak, because I love books. However, among the books I have read, I have selected three that will help you a lot in your development.

Do you want to know what they are?

Then stay with me for a few more minutes and enjoy your reading!

1 – Thinking makes you rich – Napoleon Hill

This is a classic work that I read some time ago. It is the result of a great research, in which the author investigated more than 500 millionaires.

The goal was to understand what were the steps that led them to the maximum potential to prosper financially.

Napoleon Hill shows how they think, what attitudes they took, and what made them such successful people. In the course of the work you will observe several points in common between them.

The book is so good that it has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. It is really worth reading.

2 – Nonviolent Communication – Marshall B. Rosenberg

This is an extraordinary book that teaches its readers the importance of clear and empathetic communication.

In fact, this is one of the great problems that inhibits our growth. After all, how often do we explode unnecessarily?

Throughout the book, the author shows extremely useful strategies that help you avoid arguments and solve interpersonal conflicts in a calm and respectful way.

The cool thing is that you can apply the principles taught in numerous professional and everyday situations.

3 – Emotional Intelligence – Daniel Goleman

Finally, I could not forget this masterpiece written by Daniel Goleman who is considered the father of emotional intelligence.

In the book he clarifies that personal development and emotions are directly related, and shows the skills we need to develop.

By applying them in all aspects of our daily lives, we manage to improve our emotional intelligence, which has a great weight in many areas of our lives.

With more emotional intelligence we tend to spend more controlled, we reflect better before our acts and we will have more chances to develop professionally.

These are three books that helped me a lot in my professional and personal development. And I am sure you have also read some books that have marked your life. Comment on them!
