Abmex presented a result in the first quarter of this year that really surprised me. That’s why we decided to step up the pace and start our international expansion.
And it is with great pride that I announce that soon we will also be serving the Mexican market. That’s right, we still have a lot to grow in Brazil, but we thought it was time to start taking the first steps abroad.
Abmex’s differential
Since the start-up was founded, its great differential has been offering zero fees for infoproducers on credit card sales. Many people looked on in disbelief at this decision.
Many said that we were zeroing out fintech’s main source of monetization. In fact, we knew there were other ways to monetize the company. So much so that at the beginning of this year, we did not need to perform any shutdowns.
That was the purpose and also our differential in relation to our competitors. Furthermore, we also seek to create an environment that makes life easier for the infoproducer, eliminating time-consuming implementations and extensive codes.
Benefits offered by Abmex
Little by little, we worked on different benefits to transform the startup into what it is today. We created an exclusive members area, automated the entire sales funnel, created telesales and SMS marketing, and of course, zero sales fees.
But why do we insist so much on zeroing the card sales rate? We noticed that some companies even charged up to 10% in fees and that this was having a big impact on the infoproducer’s profit.
As a result, he sought to offer this discount on other payment methods to his customers. And in some cases it even lost sales. This was the main pain of most content producers.
So we directly attacked their pain and zeroed the rates that were the Achilles heel. The result is well known: we grew much more than expected.
Operations in Mexico
Now, after a brief expansion plan, we conclude that the time has come to take another important step. Let’s start serving infoproducers in Mexico.
We are still in the phase of obtaining the necessary licenses, carrying out the correct analyzes and assembling the team to better serve this large market.
Soon I will have news. But we will certainly have a great challenge, as well as a prosperous path to travel in Central America.
For now, what I can say is that everything is being done with great care so that in a few months we will be working not only in Brazil but in Mexico as well.
This is the first step of an international journey that promises to be very promising, and maybe in a while I’ll be here announcing the expansion to yet another country. Fly, Abmex!
