There is no more room for authoritarianism in the world!

-

The time when authoritarianism was seen in a good light is gone. Today it has to be fought in companies, in families and even in politics.

We are living a new era, in which cooperation is the watchword. Authoritarian bosses are increasingly rare within organizations.

After all, a good leader is not the one who imposes his idea, but the one who knows how to create a participative business environment, giving voice to all.

An authoritarian father today will only be able to create an angry and uncreative son. Because the new generation no longer accepts an order without understanding the reason for it.

Dialogue as a way to solve problems

The world took a long time to consolidate democracy. This regime is far from ideal, but is undoubtedly the best ever created by society.

Therefore, it should be expanded to all institutions. Within a company, the democratic regime should prevail, because it is the one that will bring better results.

For example, if the boss believes that the best path is pointed out by him/her, but the majority of the employees think that the best path is another one, the right thing is to go by the majority.

Do you know why? It is very likely that the majority of employees also represent the majority of customers. And the chances of that working out will be much higher.

A repressive work environment that does not give employees a voice inhibits creative capacity and sucks the energy out of employees.

This also happens in a family environment, where parents, instead of dialoguing with their children, impose their conditions as an absolute truth.

People’s creative capacity

When you have a participative working atmosphere, you stimulate people’s creativity. And this creativity is used to increase the company’s own profit.

No one can awaken creativity in the face of repression. But when the leader sits down with his followers, suggests ideas and asks for opinions, free thinking flows.

It is this free thinking that brings up new points of view on the same subject, and when debated in a civil manner, the best path is found.

The construction of ideas through dialogue gives rise to new products not previously thought of. Respect for divergent opinions, however, cannot remain only in the business sphere.

It needs to be extended throughout society. And there is no more room for authoritarianism and intolerance for divergent opinions.

The world will become a better place as respect for all increases, regardless of whether their ideas are the same as ours or not. Do you agree? Then share it with all your friends on your social networks.
