I firmly believe that partnerships are fundamental to the success of any business. But above partnerships, values must also be shared.
It was with this in mind that, through SEDA College, I made 100 scholarships available to Hub InovaHC. And what connected us was sport.
After all, it all started in a seminar on Professor Márcio de Deus’ project, who whoever follows me knows that I am a true admirer.
This project is transforming the lives of residents of Cidade de Deus, and it was there that I met one of MOSO’s collaborators. And this initiative was born!
Education and sport as a means of changing lives
As I believe that education and sport can change lives, I donated 100 scholarships to InovaHC, as I know that this company can bring entrepreneurial solutions to the whole world.
And the purpose of MOSO Venture Design Builder is to continue fostering Hub InovaHC’s innovation ecosystem, with tools and strategic partnerships, in order to transform it into the largest innovation hub in Latin America.
This story is interesting, as it shows how sport can serve as a powerful connector between companies, creating partnerships that will help people.
More than 1 thousand scholarships donated to RJ students
In addition to these 100 places, we at SEDA also opened registrations between April 1st and 30th for 1,000 places in English courses from basic to advanced.
These vacancies are aimed at young people between the ages of 15 and 29 who live in Rio de Janeiro, and to register you must present an official identity document with photo and proof of residence.
Once the student registers, they can take a placement test to assess their level of proficiency in the English language before starting the course.
Live and recorded online classes
Classes will be online and students will be able to participate in them live, or watch them recorded, three times a week.
This course is also the result of a partnership with the Special Secretariat for Youth in Rio (JUVRio). Therefore, as you can see, I strongly believe that partnerships can contribute to changing people’s lives.
And these are just some of the example situations. I am sure that this is the path we need to follow to build a better, more just and humane world.
