Yesterday I wrote an article talking about our goal of reaching 250 SEDA College units in Brazil in 5 years, and today I want to highlight something that I think is quite important.
SEDA College, known for its excellence in English language teaching in Ireland, is the first Irish school to have a unit outside the Emerald Isle.
This move marks the first time that an Irish English school has established franchises outside its homeland, taking with it a reputation for quality and a unique teaching method.
Therefore, I am very confident about this expansion of SEDA in Brazil, and I truly believe that this movement will have the power to revolutionize language teaching in the country.
History and trajectory of SEDA College
Since its founding in Dublin, SEDA College has stood out on the educational scene for its innovative and student-centered approach. These were aspects that I have always taken care of, since the beginning almost 15 years ago.
Today, with years of experience and a series of accumulated awards, the school has been a beacon of knowledge for students of different nationalities, all seeking fluency in English.
The Irish method of education
The Irish method of education, applied by SEDA College, is celebrated for its holistic approach that not only teaches the language but immerses the student in English-speaking culture.
This method emphasizes practical interaction, critical thinking and the real application of the language in everyday situations, preparing students for the globalized world. In other words, it is a different approach from what is seen in Brazil.
Not to mention that most English schools in the country are more focused on North American culture, and immersing yourself in Irish culture will be something unprecedented in the country.
Expansion to Brazil
Therefore, the expansion into Brazil reflects SEDA College’s commitment to sharing its proven methodology with a wider audience.
Choosing Brazil as a destination highlights not only my origins, but also the importance of the Brazilian educational market and the growing demand for high-quality English teaching.
Impact and expectations
As I said previously, the arrival of SEDA College promises to revolutionize the way English is taught and learned in Brazil.
Therefore, there is a palpable expectation that Brazilian students will benefit enormously from the experience and innovation that the school brings, opening doors to incredible international opportunities.
After all, SEDA not only offers a new perspective on learning English, but also sets a new standard of excellence and interculturality in the country.
This will be the chance for students who one day want to experience an exchange in Ireland, to immerse themselves in the country’s culture in advance, and arrive here much more prepared than when I arrived!
