In 2021 I wrote a book to help countless people start a business from scratch. By the way, helping to create a startup from scratch.
I am a true startup enthusiast, anyone who follows me knows that I am always investing in new projects, especially in the technology area.
Because of this, many people asked me what was the way to start a business, and so I decided to write a book talking a little deeper about it.
The start of a startup
In the opening chapters of the book, I focused more on the theoretical part, talking about what a startup is, so that people would understand this concept a little.
Then I got into practice myself. Starting a business from scratch. So I made it clear what the whole stage of the consumer journey is, as well as the definition of the persona and the creation of an MVP (Minimum Value Product).
It is good to clarify that the creation of the persona is a fundamental step, because if you don’t know who you sell your product to, it will be difficult to get it on the market.
Once the persona is created, you need to know exactly what value is for them. Having found the central value of what she is looking for in a consumption, it is then enough to create a minimal product to test it in the market.
The Minimum Value Product
The creation of the Minimum Value Product is what will kick off your startup to get off the ground and start acting. At that stage, you will have to register your trademark to avoid problems later on.
So you need to start studying marketing, preferably the Sales Funnel. Well, this is how you will understand how the consumer behaves in each of the stages of the buying journey.
There is a very good tool that can be used which is Canvas. Using quadrants, you can design and market your product.
I show all these concepts in depth in my book, which is why it has already helped a lot of people to get an idea off the ground and put it into practice.
The idea is the key to success
Although it is crucial for you to study marketing and know the steps to create a startup, it is essential, however, to have a good idea to succeed.
The product you are going to launch needs to be useful, differentiated, and solve some kind of pain for your persona. If your product doesn’t have a differential, you will certainly be doomed to failure, no matter how hard you study.
Of course, there are many cases in which a product is thought of at first, and then over time, it is improved, and ends up becoming another product.
