From Cidade de Deus to the world: the new Jiu-Jitsu talents

-

On the weekend of the 21st, Pan Kids took place, one of the biggest Jiu Jitsu tournaments in the world for children between 04 and 15 years old. It was a door to present the new emerging talents of Cidade de Deus.

The SEDA Team TMD House is made up of several athletes from Cidade de Deus who did their best to be at the event, and showed the world what willpower, grit and determination are all about.

The team that was represented by Gabriel Giovannini, Nathaly Vitória, Tayla Vitoria, Thiago Márcio and Isabelly Costa did well during the tournament.

The importance of believing in new talent

As you all know, I am a Jiu-Jitsu enthusiast, I believe that the sport opens many doors in our lives, and moreover, it transforms us into better people.

That’s why, when I see talented children with that drive and will to win, I feel that we have to invest in them, believe in the dreams of these young people.

To give you an idea of what I’m talking about, Gabriel Giovannini spent the last few months before the start of the competition, you know, doing what? Selling feijoada.

He is a true example of struggle, creativity and determination. But not just him. Nathaly Vitoria sold brigadeiros to participate in Pan Kids, and Tayla sold couscous. Are they or are they not examples?

The spotlight on athletes from Cidade de Deus

And during the event, athletes from Cidade de Deus showed determination like few others. They fought bravely, knew how to win and lose, and also made it clear that they want to go even further.

I can say that the work that Márcio has been doing is really taking the name of Cidade de Deus to the world. I know Márcio and I know all of his dedication to the children and to this wonderful project that he runs.

I see that these little athletes will still be great people thanks to this work. And for that reason, I like to praise the importance of sponsors in their lives.

Just as they are taking the name of Cidade de Deus to the world, they will also be able to take your company’s name everywhere. Have you thought about investing in these talents?

The dreams that come true

One day, Marcio’s gym in Cidade de Deus was just a dream. He believed in the project, sought partnerships, and today that dream is already a reality.

Just as Márcio once believed in his talent, these young people also believe in their talent, they just need other people to invest in that dream.

I am very proud of the participation of these athletes in this competition, and I am sure that they will still be great fighters, fighting for national and international titles. You can be sure of that!
