BICC’s role in strengthening trade between Brazil and Ireland

-

Trade relations between Brazil and Ireland are increasingly intense. To give you an idea, from 2016 to the present day, the number of Brazilians living here in the country has quintupled. I experienced this increase.

And many of the Brazilians who arrive here have dreams of continuing to live here in Ireland. In fact, that was my dream that came true today. I made my life here, opened a language school and settled in the Emerald Isle.

That is why I try, in one way or another, to help Brazilians who arrive here and have a firm desire to stay in the country. And that was one of the reasons that made me embark along with other entrepreneurs in the creation of BICC.

BICC’s role in strengthening trade

The BICC has a very important role in strengthening trade between Brazil and Ireland. And for that reason, during the year we will be promoting various events to attract entrepreneurs.

One of them is the Moderated Forum that will happen every three months. It will discuss the main issues that affect Brazilian-Irish business. This will help a lot in understanding the needs of each country.

We will also promote a bimonthly meeting between early-stage entrepreneurs and senior entrepreneurs who will share knowledge and some insights from the sector.

Once a year we will promote a large meeting in which companies from the most varied sectors will show their products and services. All to attract the attention of other would-be entrepreneurs.

Apart from these events that will take place every year, we will also have a biannual event with the objective of strengthening trade relations between the two countries and proposing new strategies and policies that will guide trade relations.

Chamber of Commerce Brazil Ireland

With the promotion of these events and other initiatives yet to be announced, the Brazil-Ireland Chamber of Commerce aims to connect individuals, companies and public institutions from different fields of activities.

The main objective is to become the first point of contact for Brazilian companies that are headquartered in Ireland, or even Irish companies that are interested in expanding their business to Brazil.

We will also contemplate Brazilian companies that want to export their products to the Emerald Island, in an attempt to develop and grow trade relations between these two countries.

Our idea is not only to support large enterprises, but also micro and small companies that are managed by Brazilians and are starting to operate here in Ilha Esmeralda.

BICC’s political activity

In addition to supporting business development, we will also encourage changes in laws and policies so that they have a positive impact on Brazilian-Irish business to drive economic growth.

I believe that with these initiatives we are taking a big step towards the economic and social strengthening of these two countries, in addition to promoting a more promising scenario for entrepreneurs.

This is a purpose that I embrace in order to help Brazilians, who, like me, believe in their ideas and ideals. I’m sure this is just the beginning of a great project.
