Give opportunities to those without experience

-

Remember when you started your professional career? It was all very difficult, wasn’t it?

There were so many vacancies on the market, you were so eager to show your skills and almost nobody opened their doors to someone with no experience.

Disillusionment. Frustration. Willingness to give up. Several feelings came and went, until by some miracle someone decided to open the doors for you.

Yes. A kind soul said: “look, we’ll hire you because even though you have no experience, we believe in your potential”.

You grabbed that opportunity with all your might and thought: I won’t let it slip away. And that’s when your career began to take off.

Just as you once asked someone to give you an opportunity even though you had no experience, thousands of people are in the same situation.

And why can’t you be that charitable soul?

Have you ever stopped to think about it? Why are there so many demands for jobs that do not require great responsibility and that you can easily teach someone to fill?

When you give an opportunity to someone who has no experience, you are taking a person out of desperation.

You are showing them that they don’t have to give up. That they have potential, all that’s needed is for someone to be willing to hire them.

If all companies require experience to work, what will happen to young people who are looking for an opportunity in the market?

Junior job is for those without experience

I constantly come across some absurdities that make me wonder. Companies hiring employees for junior positions with senior requirements.

What is this? An attempt to pay less for a professional who is worth more? Junior vacancies are exclusively for those who have no experience.

Therefore, requiring an enviable curriculum to occupy a junior position is one of the biggest contradictions I’ve ever seen in my life.

In my opinion, the organization needs to create a career and training plan for those who are starting out and intend to take on a junior position.

There is nothing more frustrating than a junior candidate applying for a vacancy, eager to learn and give his best, only to be faced with absurd demands.

Make a difference in people’s lives

If you want a company to really thrive, make a difference and give opportunities to those without experience.

Plan your company, create vacancies at all levels, because I know there is a need to hire employees with experience in some areas.

But I know it is possible to create internship positions, trainee and junior vacancies precisely to allocate those people who have no experience, but are full of desire.

This is how I work at SEDA and in all my ventures, and this is how I hope to be contributing to someone’s success.

After all, I remember very well when I was young and full of plans and I was faced with vacancies requiring an experience that I didn’t have.
